Pectoral Crosses are large crosses normally made from precious metals such as gold, silver or platinum. In Christian faiths they are worn by members of the clergy. A Pectoral Cross, in the Roman Catholic Faith, is one of the pontificals used by the Pope, Cardinals, Archbishops and Bishops. This can sometimes be extended to Abbots, Abbesses and Cathedral Canons. A Pectoral Cross can be worn with clerical robes or religious habits.
